Mass-sending that dog-face-filter selfie has never been easier.

Snapchat released a new feature Tuesday, allowing people to create groups of up to 16 friends. Before the update, you had to individually check off each of your Snapchat friends to send Snaps. That can get annoying and hard to keep up with, especially amid stacks of notifications and replies.

You can create a group by sending the Snap to multiple people, making it easier to sort your college buddies from your work friends. You can also chat with the group like you can in one-on-one messages, where the chat logs are deleted after 24 hours.

This feature has been in high demand for awhile, according to other social media sites.

If you want to switch to a private conversation, you can tap on a friend's name to temporarily exit the group -- another new Snapchat feature called Quick Chat.

Snapchat is also adding Scissors and Paintbrush tools. With scissors, you can cut out part of your Preview Screen and use it as a sticker. Paintbrush can be used as an artistic filter on Snaps in Memories.
